Mission

Make sense of data from around the world. That is the whole mission. Everything else on this page is how we hold ourselves to it.

Key facts

Public data only

Every dataset a network site publishes is drawn from a public source: a government portal, an open API, a registry, a filing. Nothing is scraped from behind a login or a paywall.

Every source attributed

Every number traces back to a named source with a link, shown on the site that uses it and in that site's site.json manifest.

Licences respected

Before a dataset is used, its licence is checked and recorded. If a licence does not allow what we want to do with the data, we do not use it.

Methodology published

How a number is computed is public, not a black box. See each site's own methodology page, and this hub's Methodology page for the network-level figures.

Every chart has a text equivalent

Every chart on every network site ships with a plain-language summary and a hidden, screen-reader-accessible data table, not just an image.

No paywalled scraping

If a source requires payment or a login to access, we do not scrape around that. We either use a source that is genuinely open, or we do not publish the number.

Why this hub is not a data site

simbasystems.com does not publish primary data of its own. It exists to explain the network, show its growth, and be the front door for advertisers and partners. The figures shown here (site counts, records, page views) are aggregated from the network sites' own manifests and Cloudflare analytics, not independently collected.
